EPS Barcode creator for Mac OS 8/9
MBC3 contains all the bar coding features necessary for generating precise, accurate bar codes which always scan: Over 200 barcode types The program produces bar codes as EPS or Adobe Illustrator files for use in XPress, PageMaker, FreeHand and Illustrator as well as many other graphics packages. As bar codes are becoming more complex, we've designed MBC3 to be future-proof. Many organisations require specially formatted bar codes which differ from the standard layout. Some have hidden or extra characters in the "Human Readable" portion of the bar code, or specific fonts, sizes and positioning are used. As the bar code industry has matured, the demands placed on designers and printers to produce a wide variety of different bar code styles has also increased. MBC3 is the first choice for producing quality PostScript barcodes.
Our unique "Custom barcodes" feature lets us add new bar code variations in minutes. If the variation you need is not in the program, just ask us and we'll add it for you - at no extra charge.

Thermal Label Printing on Mac Classic
MacThermal is the only Macintosh solution for printing to thermal transfer printers made by Datamax, Zebra and Toshiba TEC. Because these printers use their own built-in language and include on-board facilities for bar codes, incrementing items and other print run functions, it is not feasible or desireable to use driver software. MacThermal is both easy to use and fully-featured. Labels can be printed with text, static or incrementing barcodes, incrementing numbers, PICT graphics, multiple-language 'smart' dates, boxes and lines. As mentioned before, each printer has it's own built-in features which are reflected in the 3 versions of MacThermal. Check out our Frequently Asked Questions pages for each printer type: |
PostScript Label Printing for Classic OS
Label Designer gives you the power and flexibility to meet all your label needs, without investing in dedicated equipment. You just use your Macintosh and any PostScript printer. PostScript gives you the print quality not only to produce readable bar codes but also to convey a quality image on your products. Label Designer lets you produce labels to any label size and sheet layout by using the standard label templates supplied or by entering the dimensions of any custom label sheet. Create labels using barcode, text, graphics and incrementing fields and print any quantity with or without changes in content. Label layout is defined by placing fields onto the label which may contain text, bar codes, PICT or EPS graphics and incrementing numbers. The Tool box also has tools for boxes and lines. Of course, you are not limited to printing one label design at a time. Label Designer lets you produce a whole print run with varying quantity and content, even incrementing numbers and bar codes which run through the entire print run. Graphics capability allows the user to import EPS or PICT graphics. Images may be scaled proportionally or stretched horizontally and vertically. Lines and boxes can be drawn in one of 5 line thicknesses. The Zoom facility lets you view and edit the label at 50%, 100%, 200% or 400% magnification. Rotation of all label content is possible in increments of 90º. The Import function lets you import label content directly from a tab or comma delimited text file. Columns in the text file are linked to fields in the label. Text, bar codes, graphics, numbers and label quantity may all be imported. In the case of graphics, the text in the text file must match the name of a graphic file on disk - the graphic in then imported automatically. |
